The Energy Change Institute comprises around 300 academic staff and their postgraduate research students from all seven colleges of the University. They're working across 20 research clusters, spanning artificial photosynthesis to wind energy.

The wider Energy Change Institute membership meets twice a year - at the Annual Business Meeting which establishes the programme for the coming year, and at the mid-year Energy Change Institute Open Day which presents research highlights to the ECI stakeholder community.

The Energy Change Institute is governed by an Executive which meets regularly throughout the year as required.

The Institute's strategic directions are reviewed each year when the Executive meets with the Advisory Board.
